About the Team

Jaileen: 

As a first generation from Dominican Republic the concept of  taking care of yourself and self care was not a traditional concept. You ate what was on the table and you did your job. As a much more educated adult, I realized that taking care of yourself isn’t just superficial it’s about feeling good from the inside out. With massage, I am able to accomplish a combination of relaxing and also medical treatment for my clients.

Massage has always been close to my heart ever since I was a little girl.  My Mom would ask me to give her a massage while we watched TV together.  Sometimes she would fall asleep and I would still be massaging her when she woke up, an hour later.  She always told me that I should be a masseuse. I didn’t know what that meant back then,  but now I realize that massage therapy is my gift, and I am a natural healer by nature.

With this newly found gift and over multiple years of experience. I have been able to hone in my skills and learn various techniques through massage that make the arduous daily tasks of life disappear.

The human body’s ability to heal and rejuvenate through massage fascinates me.  I’m happy to say that I get to be a part of that healing process.  It has become my commitment to promote holistic health and my desire to make a tangible difference in people’s lives.  For these reasons I was driven to pursue a career in massage therapy, I enjoy improving the quality of life for others every day.
